Why is it dark on the picture and light on the downloaded ones and the text is hardly readable - not a happy buyer.

The set of ranks are translucent, which means that they will change colors and adapt to your skin (which should preferably be dark colored). They only appear grayish when placed upon a dark background; sorry for the confusion.
